Treffpunkt Asyl Bochum ist eine politische Gruppe, die nicht bereit ist, unmenschliche Verhältnisse im Bereich Flucht und Asylpolitik hinzunehmen – weder auf lokaler noch auf Landes- oder Bundesebene. Wir setzen uns gemeinsam mit selbstorganisierten Geflüchtetengruppen für eine solidarische Gesellschaft ein und kämpfen für die Rechte Geflüchteter und gegen Rassismus.
Treffpunkt Asyl wurde im Jahr 2013 gegründet. Wir treten ein für eine gerechte und an den Bedürfnissen der betroffenen Menschen orientierte Flüchtlingspolitik. Alle sollen selbst entscheiden können, wie und wo sie leben wollen. Für Menschen, die in ihren Herkunftsländern nicht sicher und in Würde leben können, ist dieses Recht auf Bewegungsfreiheit besonders existenziell, trotzdem wird es ihnen häufig verweigert.
Wir machen die Öffentlichkeit auf die Fluchthintergründe aufmerksam und stellen Vorurteilen und Hetze Fakten und Begegnung entgegen. Wir fördern den Austausch zwischen neu angekommenen Bochumer*innen und jenen, die schon länger hier leben. Wir organisieren Proteste gegen eine Politik, die Geflüchtete ausgrenzt. Wir sind aktiv gegen die Abschottung Europas sowie gegen die Bevormundung und Kriminalisierung von Geflüchteten.
Dabei ist unser Engagement auch ganz konkret: Im Rahmen unserer Möglichkeiten unterstützen wir Geflüchtete in individuellen Problemlagen. Wir wehren uns gegen Abschiebungen, unfaire Asylverfahren, Diskriminierung, inhumane Unterbringung, Verweigerung des Familiennachzugs, Missachtung individueller Bedürfnisse, Wohnsitzauflagen, unzureichende Sprachkurse, institutionellen Rassismus und ganz allgemein gegen eine Politik, die gegen Menschenrechte und die Menschenwürde verstößt.
Wir stellen dem unsere Vorstellungen eines gleichberechtigten Zusammenlebens von Menschen verschiedenster Herkunft, Altersstufen, kultureller Hintergründe und Geschlechter entgegen. Jenseits eines einseitigen Integrationsimperativs treten wir ein für ein von allen mitgestaltetes Zusammenleben, bei dem jeder Mensch das Recht auf ein menschenwürdiges Leben hat. Alle sind eingeladen, an der Gestaltung einer Welt auf der Basis von Gerechtigkeit und Solidarität mitzuwirken. Unsere Treffen finden multilingual statt, damit alle Interessierten mitmachen können.
AKTIV WERDEN, VORBEI KOMMEN! Wir laden ein zum offenen flüchtlingspolitischen Treffen: Jeden 3. Donnerstag im Monat um 19 Uhr. Aktuell treffen wir uns im Botopia „Raum 9“ in der Griesenbruchstr. 9 in Bochum.
About us
Treffpunkt Asyl Bochum is a political group that is not willing to accept inhumane conditions in the field of refugee and asylum politics, neither on local level nor regarding state or federal politics. Together with self-organized refugee groups, we stand up for a society based on solidarity and fight for the rights of refugees and against racism.
Treffpunkt Asyl was founded in 2013. We stand up for fair refugee politics based on the needs of the affected people. Everyone should be able to decide where and how he or she wants to live. The right to freedom of movement is essential, especially for those that cannot live in safety and dignity in their countries of origin. However, this right is often refused to them.
We raise public awareness for the backgrounds of flight. We counter prejudices and hate speech with facts and the opportunity to meet each other. We promote the exchange between newly arrived citizens of Bochum and the ones who have been living here for a while. We organize protests against politics that excludes refugees. We actively oppose the process of walling-up Europe as well as practices of paternalism and criminalization against refugees. Within the scope of our possibilities we also support refugees that have to deal with individual problems. We stand against deportations, unfair asylum procedures, inhumane housing conditions, refusal of family reunions, the neglect of individual needs, restrictions regarding the place of residence, insufficient language course offers, institutional racism, and against politics that violates human rights and human dignity.
All these things we counter with our idea of living together based on equal rights, regardless of different origins, cultural backgrounds, and genders. Beyond demands of unidirectional integration, we promote a society where everyone can participate equally and that provides the right to a humane live for everyone. Everyone is welcome to contribute to a world based on justice and solidarity. Our meetings are multi-lingual so that everyone can participate.
GET INVOLVED, JUST DROP BY! We hold an open refugee policy meeting at 7 p.m. on every third Thursday of the month. At the moment we meet at Botopia „Raum 9“, a self-organized room at Griesenbruchstr. 9 in Bochum.
Qui sommes-nous?
Treffpunkt Asyl Bochum (Point de rencontre d’Asile Bochum) est un groupe politique qui n’est pas prête à accepter des conditions inhumaines dans le domaine de l’exil et la politique d’asile au niveau local, régional et national. Nous nous engageons collectivement avec des groupes auto-organisés de réfugié-e-s pour une société solidaire. Nous luttons pour les droits de réfugié-e-s et contre le racisme.
Treffpunkt Asyl a été fondé en 2013. Nous nous engageons pour une politique d’asile juste et orientée vers les besoins des femmes et hommes concerné-e-s. Tout le monde doit avoir la possibilité de décider comment et où ils veulent vivre. Pour celleux qui ne sont pas en sécurité dans leurs pays d’origine et qui ne peuvent pas y vivre dans la dignité, le droit de la liberté de mouvement est particulièrement vital bien qu’il leur soit souvent refusé.
Nous attirons l’attention du public sur les contextes d’exil et nous confrontons les préjugés et la propagande haineuse aux faits et aux rencontres. Nous promouvons les échanges entre celleux venant d’arriver à Bochum et celleux y habitant déjà depuis plus longtemps. Nous organisons des protestations contre une politique qui exclut les réfugié-e-s. Nous militons contre le cloisonnement ainsi que contre la mise sous tutelle et la criminalisation des réfugié-e-s.
Notre engagement est donc tout à fait concret : dans la mesure du possible, nous soutenons les réfugié-e-s dans leurs problèmes individuels. Nous nous défendons contre les expulsions, les procédures de demande d’asile injuste, la discrimination, les logements inhumains, le refus du regroupement familial, le mépris des besoins individuels, les conditions de résidence, les cours de langue insuffisants, le racisme institutionnel et la politique contrevenant aux droits de l’homme et à la dignité humaine en général.
Contre cela, nous nous battons pour nos idées d’un vivre ensemble égalitaire des personnes ayant des origines, des âges, des cultures et des genres différents. Au-delà d’un impératif d’intégration unilatéral, nous prenons position en faveur d’un vivre ensemble façonné par tout le monde où chacun-e a le droit à une vie digne . Tout le monde est invité à participer à la création d’un monde fondé sur la justice et la solidarité. Nos réunions sont multilingues pour que tout-e-s les intéressé-e-s puissent y participer.
