16.03.2017: Working group against deportations instead of Open Refugee Policy Meeting

IMPORTANT: Usually, every third Thursday of the month our Open Refugee Policy Meeting takes places at 7pm at Haus der Begegnung. On 16th of March, however, we have to cancle the meeting. Instead, we will be at a meeting of Refugee Council NRW (Flüchtlingsrat NRW) where a working group against deportations will be founded.

Translation of the official invitation to the event:

We are not willing to watch any longer how the federal state government makes inhumane deportations a normal routine, even to Afghanistan. The human right to asylum must not erode any further. Birgit Naujoks from Flüchtlingsrat NRW will give a lecture on the political and legal state of deportations in NRW. We want to create a network that fights against deportations in manifold ways.
